Equipment availability depends on the engine and configuration selected. You will find details in the equipment information for each model.
AIRMATIC package (optional)
Your comfort should not be dependant on the state of the road surface. The AIRMATIC packages makes this possible. It adapts the damping of the vehicle and its wheels to the road surface conditions. And enables more dynamism at high speeds.
In combination with the ADS PLUS Adaptive Damping System, the air suspension delivers excellent road roar and tyre vibration characteristics and outstanding driving dynamics to the road or the track. The damping at each wheel is adapted to the current driving situation.
The settings "Comfort", "Sport" and "Sport" allow the driver to choose between the AIRMATIC package's more comfortable and sportier settings. At high speeds, the vehicle is lowered, to reduce wind resistance and further increase stability.
Standard equipment for the AMG models and the GLE 500 4MATIC. Not available for the GLE 250 d.
Anti-theft protection package (optional) (Standard equipment for AMG models)
A combination of various security features helps to effectively warn of break-ins, theft and towing. An alarm is triggered upon unauthorised intrusions or changes in the vehicle's attitude.
The anti-theft protection package provides audible and visual warnings if the vehicle is broken into or stolen; for example in the event of unauthorised opening of the vehicle doors, tailgate or bonnet. The system is activated automatically when the vehicle is locked using the remote control.
Tow-away protection reacts to changes in the vehicle's position. This function can be deactivated if necessary, for instance, in order to load the vehicle onto a transport, or if the vehicle has to be towed.

Memory package (optional)
If the vehicle is used by several persons, this package offers particular convenience. Up to three different positions for the power-adjustable front seats, steering column and exterior mirrors can be stored at the touch of a button and retrieved. The package also assists when parking.
When reverse gear is engaged, the passenger-side exterior mirror automatically lowers to provide the driver a better overview. When reverse gear is disengaged again, the mirror pivots back to its original position.

Night package (optional)
If you are into black, sporty and expressive, you'll love this package. Because it allows you to further customise your vehicle with exclusive, high-quality details. The package is based on the AMG bodystyling.
Striking design elements in black underscore the sporty, expressive character of the vehicle – from the two slats on the radiator trim to the exterior mirror and through to the AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels.
Further black elements include: the underguard, the roof trim strip and the beltlines. The heat-insulating tinted glass in rear doors and rear window for privacy and sun protection underscore the vehicle's sporty presence.
Parking package with 360-degree camera (optional)
Parking as if by magic: All you need to do is operate the accelerator, the vehicle does the rest. It doesn't get much easier. This is provided by the two central components in this extraordinary package.
Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC makes finding a parking space easier, as well as parking and exiting both parallel spaces or car park spaces. It automatically steers the vehicle into parking spaces and frees the driver from having to steer and brake.
The 360° camera provides you with a realistic all-round view thanks to the interaction of four cameras. A bird's-eye view of the vehicle and its surroundings is then displayed on the COMAND Online screen. This makes obstacles below the level of the windowlines visible. The system is automatically activated when you engage reverse. Or you can also activate the camera manually.
Mirror package (optional)(Standard equipment for AMG GLE43)
City traffic is full of problems. Narrow streets, lack of parking spaces, these things are daily challenges – for every driver. It can thus be very helpful if a vehicle can make itself narrower.
Both exterior mirrors can be power-adjusted and -folded at the push of a button to protect the mirror housing against damage, for instance when parking. For improved vision and visibility the exterior mirror on the driver's side and the interior mirror automatically dim steplessly.
The logo lamps integrated into the door mirrors project the Mercedes star onto the floor.
