With the optional COMAND Online, the V-Class offers you an innovative multimedia system for navigation, telephony and audio of the standard you would expect of a Mercedes-Benz MPV. And should you be driving late at night, the ambient lighting in the V-Class AVANTGARDE will provide an incomparably soothing atmosphere with its atmospheric light.

Active seat ventilation as well as seat heating (optional) for the driver and front passenger seats

Seating comfort in the V-Class is preserved whether the weather is cold or hot. The optional seat heating heats the front seats quickly to the desired temperature. And the climatised seats - also available as an optional extra - offer a three-stage ventilation program for the seat cushions and seat backs. They improve the vehicle interior climate and help to transport moisture away.

Ambient lighting

The ambient lighting welcomes the driver and passengers with a pleasant, indirect light. It is activated when a door is opened, or at the same time as the external lights are switched on, and creates a feel-good atmosphere in the interior just when getting into the vehicle. Three colour shades neutral (white), solar (bernstein colours) and polar (ice blue) make it possible to select your own lighting mood.

In addition to choosing the colour, the brightness of the ambient lighting can also be steplessly adjusted via the multifunction steering wheel. The discreet lighting makes it easier to adjust one's vision from the interior to the street, as the degree of contrast is reduced. This takes the burden off the eyes, which tire far less quickly.

Ambient lighting is available as standard for the V-Class AVANTGARDE.

AVANTGARDE Design package for the Interior (optional)

The AVANTGARDE Design package for the Interior impresses with a huge range of exclusive equipment. It includes luxury seats, a multifunction steering wheel and shift lever in very high-quality nappa leather. A further highlight is the upper section of the dashboard in leather look with decorative stitching. It not only looks high-quality, it wins people over with its pleasant feel, too. Additionally three attractive-looking trim options are available to choose from.

The AVANTGARDE Design package for the Interior is available as an option for the V-Class AVANTGARDE.

Design package for the Interior

The Design package for the Interior enhances the vehicle interior and gives it an individual, sporty feel. The package includes Comfort seats in Lugano leather in either black or crystal grey as well as the steering wheel and shift lever in nappa leather. There is a choice of two attractive-looking variants for the trim. The sports pedals in brushed aluminium amplify the sporty character of the Design package for the Interior.

The Design package for the Interior is available as a standard for the V-Class.

Electrically adjustable driver and front passenger seat

The electric seat adjustment allows the Comfort seats and head restraints to be easily and steplessly adjusted. The practical Memory function says the individual settings for the seats, head restraints and exterior mirrors for up to three people. When there is a change of driver or front passenger the settings can be conveniently and quickly reset at the touch of a button.

THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control

THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control increases climate comfort for the driver and passengers and makes an important contribution to driver-fitness safety, particularly when outside temperatures are high. It automatically controls temperature, airflow and air distribution in two climate zones, so that the driver and passengers can feel equally comfortable in their different, preferred climates. An active charcoal filter filters out dust, soot and pollen from the air before they can get into the vehicle interior.

The air quality and pollutant sensor continuously monitors the air quality of the sucked-in outside air and switches automatically to air recirculation mode if the readings for pollutant gases such as carbon monoxide or nitrogen oxide are too high. This means that odours and pollutants are banished almost entirely from the interior. The integral air dehumidification function reliably prevents the windows from misting up, even when in heating mode.

THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control is available as a standard for the V-Class and the V-Class AVANTGARDE.

Luxury front-passenger seat

The Comfort front passenger's seat can be adjusted to suit the individual requirements of the front passenger. Thanks to the ergonomic seating position, the seating comfort is increased, particularly over long stretches. The specification includes a Comfort head restraint and an armrest on the inside, as well as thorax-pelvis sidebags, which increase safety.

The luxury seat has a large lengthways adjustment range and allows the stepless adjustment of the back and seat cushion angle as well as the seat cushion height. The Comfort head restraint can also be adjusted for height and angle.

Luxury driver's seat

The Comfort driver's seat can be adjusted to suit the individual requirements of the driver. Thanks to the ergonomic seating position, both seating comfort and driver-fitness safety are increased, particularly over long stretches. Luxury driver and front-passenger seats, swivelling

The swivelling luxury driver's and front passenger's seats can be pivoted when the vehicle is parked up so that they are vis-à-vis the other passengers in the passenger compartment. Swivelling them towards the doors makes getting in and out of the vehicle even easier. With a wide range of possible seating positions, both the Comfort driver's and front passenger's seats can be individually adjusted to suit the requirements of the driver and front passenger. The ergonomic seat position increases seating comfort, particularly on long journeys.

The specification includes a Comfort head restraint and inner armrest. The Luxury seat can be pivoted 60° outwards and 180° towards the vehicle interior. It has a large lengthways adjustment range and allows the stepless adjustment of the back and seat cushion angle as well as the seat cushion height. The Comfort head restraint can also be adjusted for height and angle.

Lumbar support for driver and front-passenger seats

The 4-way lumbar support for the driver's and front passenger's seats supports the vertebrae in the loin area, thereby relieving the strain on the back, particularly on long journeys. Two air cushions in the backrest of the Comfort driver's and front passenger's seats can be individually adjusted to suit their requirements and thus help to promote an ergonomic seating position.

Individual settings for the electropneumatically-operated 4-way lumbar support are adjusted through two regulating valves, which cause the air cushions to be inflated or deflated. In addition, they can be adjusted for height. The settings can be conveniently adjusted using the 4-way switch on the outer edge of the cushion.

The lumbar support is available as an option (only in conjunction with the Comfort driver's and/or front passenger's seat). They are available for both the V-Class and V-Class AVANTGARDE.

Table package (optional)

The Table package contains many features to make a journey more pleasant for the rear passengers. They can use the folding, movable table for eating a snack, working or playing a game. Cup holders located in the sidewalls hold drinks securely in place. The nets on the backrests of the four individual seats provide even more storage space. And mobile devices can be connected up and charged through the 12 V socket.

The Table package is optionally available for the V-Class and V-Class AVANTGARDE.

Variable seating concept

A 6, 7 or 8-seater – the V-Class is exceptionally versatile. Four comfortable single seats are installed as standard in the rear. They offer a high degree of seating comfort and allow flexible use of the passenger compartment. Optional three-seat bench seats for the first and second rows in the rear increase the number of potential rear passengers to five or six. If a particularly large amount of load space is required, the seats in the passenger compartment can also be completely removed thanks to the seat rail system with its quick-release attachment system.

Heating air duct to passenger compartment

The warm air channel leading to the passenger compartment provides the rear passengers with pleasant temperature-controlled air, thereby increasing their sense of well-being.
